Shields Community Garden

Community gardening and food growing are essential to the work we do at Urban Roots. We have flourishing growing spaces across the Southside where local people can get together to grow fruit, vegetables and flowers. Our wildlife-friendly gardens encourage healthier lifestyles and highlight the importance of local and seasonal produce.

Come along to Shields Community Garden, next to Shields Medical Practice, to learn how to grow and maintain this green space. We meet on Wednesdays from 10:30am - 12:30pm.
